Privacy Policy

      • Why do you want to know my name and e-mail address? I use your email address to communicate with you about your purchases, or matters relating to shipping, returns and only things that may arise out of your purchasing from ginettecallaway.com. I don't email promotional messages unless you have yourself subscribed to our email newsletter, from which you can unsubscribe anytime!.

      • Why do you want to know my credit card number and street address? I need these to process your purchase and to ship your purchase to you. I don't use them for anything  else.

      • What other information do you keep track of, about me? Only information I use for fraud prevention. I use it to match up credit card information with the location from where the order was placed. The IP address from where you placed your order is given to me as well.  I don't use any of this information other than making sure that no fraudulent credit cards are used.

        EXAMPLE: My background security detects an order was placed from an IP in Nigeria, but the credit card is registered to someone in for example, in Ohio, that would be a "red flag" for a fraudulent transaction and I would be alerted to it. This protects credit card holders as well as me a seller.
      • Do you collect information from children? I don't collect information on children. 

      • How do you verify parental consent for information about their children? I don't sell knowingly to children. I sell my art and never had a child customer.

      • How do you make sure nobody steals my credit card information? My shop uses secure credit card progressing.
        Credit card numbers are invisible, even to me. I do not need that information since checkout is processed securely encrypted via Shopify or PayPal whichever you chose!  PayPal security policy applies. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

      • How do you use this information? I have limited information that I need to process your order and to verify credit card information and buyer information.

      • Do you share my information with other parts of your company? As a company, I am a one women operation, so I don't share with other persons in my company. I use some application to email you receipts, or process shipping and make mailing labels.
        I may share pertaining information in order to do these important business tasks. I never share any of your information unless required by law or for fulfilling your order. EXAMPLE: Technically I am sharing your shipping address, when I make a mailing label at USPS, FedEx or UPS This is something that is necessary. 

      • Do you share my information with other companies? I use some application to email you receipts, or process shipping and make mailing labels.
        Pertaining information may be shared in order to do these important business tasks. I never share any of your information unless required by law or for fulfilling your order.  

      • Do you sell my information to anyone? No I don't.

      • What do you do if one of your employees violates my privacy? I do not have any employees, but if I did, if they violated the privacy of my customers, knowingly and maliciously, I would fire that person. If they did by innocent mistake I would investigate how a mistake could happen and fix it so it would not happen again. 
        That being said I have no intention of having anyone but myself handle the financial aspects of my business including client information.

      • Can I see and change the information you have about me, personally? Can I review information you have about my child?
        You can create an account and see the information I have as far as address and order history. You can add addresses and delete address, you can also contact me and ask to have your account deleted. If you don't have an account with a password you can not see the information I have. Making information public without an account and password, would be a security breach. I don't have information on children.

      • How can I start or stop receiving e-mail from you? Anytime. If you signed up for my newsletter use the unsubscribe in the newsletter bottom to unsubscribe, that removes you automatically, or you may contact me with the email addresses you want to have removed and I will do so.

      • How do you protect the privacy of my e-mails to your customer support team? I am the team. There is nobody else. My computer is also password protected.

      • Who can I talk to if I have a question about my privacy? Contact me directly I will do my best to answer questions or concerns.
