Black Water Suwanee River Landscape - Original Watercolor and Ink by Ginette Callaway

Black Water Suwanee River Landscape - Original Watercolor and Ink by Ginette Callaway

A watercolor and ink. A scene of the sandy river banks of the Suwanee river which starts in the Georgia Okefenokee and end in the gulf of Mexico. Along this pristine wildlife wetland are many animals and plants and the unique sandy river banks. The water is black from tannin created by decaying vegetation. Okefenokee is an Indian word, loosely translated to mean "Land of the Trembling Earth".
