I raised this baby bird by hand after some children brought him to me. Their parents had started to clean up the backyard during spring and they found the bird and since I am known as the "Animal Lady", they though it best to give the bird to me. The bird was very tiny and had just a bit of feathers mostly still all skin and bones. I fed and raised her.

To make a long story short, after a few weeks the bird flew off, came back a few more times for once or twice a day feedings.

She got to learn and listen to my whistling tune and cam back when I stood in the yard whistling that particular tune but eventually that was over.
All grown up on on her own, I am sure has a good life now.

The last photo I took of her when we started to learn to sit on a branch. She looked so cute next to my roses.
