Heirloom Roses Still life
My Roses are in full bloom. One of the most beautiful and most fragrant is the heirloom variety “The Impressionists” a peachy pink rose.
I have a few other varieties, all are blooming right now, today I cut a little bouquet and placed them in a silver Repoussé vase. The paint just magically went from my brush and knife on to the canvas and I couldn't stop until I was finished. I painted all day and all the while I was surrounded by the sweetest rose fragrance you can imagine. The heirloom roses are just amazing.
I added some Rosemary and Dusty Miller to my arrangement.

I mix my own colors using a high quality set of certain colors, I mix any hue and variation I desire. This gives my art a certain uniqueness, you can tell this is not paint that comes straight from a tube on to the canvas. Color mixing is one of my strengths.
