Ginette was born in France lived in Germany, immigrated to the United States in 1987 and started her art career in 1999. Since then she grew to develop her unique style of painting in watercolors and black sumi ink. Ginette is also known for her palette knife impressionist inspired oil paintings. Her preferred topics now are places around the world with a focus on Italy, France and the American South. Ginette lives in Georgia for over 30 years. Her travel in the south gave her many inspirations, especially South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. The architecture of Charleston and Savannah, the natural beauty of the Okefenokee and the wide wetlands of the Everglades, and the Atlantic ocean, there is always something that needs painting.
